One of the most important thing you can do as a leader is take time to have a conversation (or multiple conversations) with those around you.
In a conversation, ideas and news are exchanged, which means to be in conversation with someone is to both share and listen. To truly be in conversation, it takes focus and attention, which is something most of us aren't really that good at. It also takes curiosity - the desire to be part of that exchange of ideas and news.
